To put it simply - there is always something good and bad happening in one's life to affect the emotional state and in turn outward physical state as well.
Mini's "What YOU Mean To ME"
“What You Mean To Me” explores the idea of the emotional state expressed through the physicality of crafting the piece itself. The use of industrial materials is intentional to create each piece that is both visually captivating and emotionally charged.
The work features a series of interconnected materials made from concrete, plexiglass, on premium canvas. Each piece is intentionally abstract to explore how emotions can manifest themselves without explanation. Zoe does this intentionally to give the viewer the freedom to allow the mind to roam freely. As for the use of color this is an intentional act on Zoe’s part to represent a particular experience she has had with that of either a romantic or platonic relationship. The work also incorporates elements of light and shadow, emphasizing the dichotomy between darkness and desire that happen simultaneously in ones emotional state. Zoe’s work invites viewers to explore their own inner world while reflecting on the universal struggle for emotional wellbeing. By exploring these themes through her work, Zoe aims to bring awareness to the connectivity of the inner and outward wellbeing of oneself.
