Two knelt beneath the thorn, Grief entwined where love was born.
A bloom once promised, now laid to rest,
Its shadow lingered within their chest.
Yet, a seed did rise,
Reaching for light through tear-filled skies.
Together they stood, bound by the past,
A requiem sung, love held fast
