Beneath the sun's gaze,
I sat where cliffs cradle the sky.
Ancient whispers wove through the wind,
their echoes blooming in the stillness.
A prickly pear, crowned with blooms, stood rooted in the ruin's embrace.
Its thorns held stories of survival, its budding fruit, a quiet offering of life.
The desert's breath kissed my skin, its warmth a quiet baptism.
In the vastness, I unraveled, shedding the weight of what was.
The earth hummed, and I bloomed anew,
a spirit reborn in the arms of the earth.
